Corten Hotel is a three-star rated structure, with an unique concept within the regional hospitality reality. It is settled in S. Maria of Licodia, at the feet of Etna, province of Catania.
Just 18 km away from the city of Catania, near Belpasso, there is the shopping center “Etnapolis”. Also called “the city of rediscovered time”, it was born in 2005 from the pencil of the architect Massimiliano Fuksas.
The fifth largest shopping center in Italy, it is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day of shopping.
The shopping center can be reached in several ways:
• from Catania’s airport “Fontanarossa” by taxi or by subway, where you can find a stop reserved for the shopping center;
• from Catania by circumetnea railway;
• from the highway continuing in the direction of Misterbianco.
Etnapolis consists of over 130 shops, a large hypermarket and 11 restaurants. The two underground levels and the roof are intended for parking. The east section is dedicated to sales, while the west section hosts services, cinema and dining services.
There are over 130 shops in the centre that range from clothing and footwear, to household appliances and home, to health and jewellery, to bookshops. Various banking and telephone services, a tailor’s shop, a travel agency and a parapharmacy are available.
The equipped areas
On an area of 45000 square meters lays a green area where you can either relax in the shade or use the equipped areas, such as basketball fields, beach volleyball fields and football fields, but also brand new games such as mixtreme, track minicar, umping, trampolines, rides for children.
On the first floor there is a playroom with two birthday-dedicated rooms, a soft play area, a kiddie ride area and a 5d cinema. Inside the complex there is a multiplex cinema, consisting of 12 cinemas in total.
Food & beverage
Inside, and just near the shopping center, there are several dining options that range from Old Wild West to Mc Donald’s and “Rossopomodoro”. Just next to the complex, there is also the Leroy Merlin store.
The Etnapolis shopping center is the best place to enjoy a quiet day, full of shopping and entertainment, also using all the comforts possible, from the restaurant to the green area full of games.
